Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 4, 2026

1. Who We Are

LivePilot ("we", "us", "our") operates the LivePilot AI planning and execution platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our Service.

For privacy-related enquiries, contact us at support@live-pilot.com.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. If you sign in with a third-party provider (e.g. Google), we receive basic profile information from that provider.

2.2 Identity and profile data

To personalise planning, we ask for optional identity information including: your name, country of residence, citizenship, and identity document type. This data is stored in your user profile and used solely to tailor AI-generated plans to your situation.

2.3 Uploaded documents

Documents you upload (such as identity documents, receipts, or forms) are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket. They are not publicly accessible. Access requires authentication and is scoped to your user account only. Documents are used to extract relevant information for your planning session.

2.4 Usage data

We collect data about how you use the Service, including goals you submit, plans generated, execution steps completed, and memory/context signals. This data is used to improve the Service and personalise your experience.

2.5 AI interaction data

Your inputs are processed by OpenAI's API to generate responses. Please review OpenAI's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle data sent to their API.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and personalise the Service
  • To generate AI-powered plans and execution guidance
  • To authenticate your account and maintain session security
  • To improve the Service through usage analytics
  • To send important service notifications (not marketing without consent)
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring that each user can only access their own data. Uploaded documents are stored in private cloud storage buckets — not on publicly accessible file servers.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, and access controls. No system is completely immune to attack; we will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach affecting your personal data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • OpenAI — to process your goals and generate AI responses (see their privacy policy)
  • Supabase — for database and authentication infrastructure
  • Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect rights and safety

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have the following rights under GDPR:

  • Access — request a copy of your personal data
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Objection — object to certain processing activities
  • Restriction — request that processing be limited

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@live-pilot.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time, which will result in deletion of your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

AI interaction logs may be retained for up to 12 months for service improvement purposes, in anonymised or pseudonymised form.

8. Cookies

LivePilot uses only essential session cookies necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Authentication is managed via Supabase SSR session cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made.
